Hello! Thank you for visiting You First Telehealth and taking the time to learn more about our practice. I am an immigrant from Cameroon located in West Africa, and came to the US to further my studies. I have a passion for service and preventative care so I gravitated toward a career path in nursing. And while I have worked in different nursing capacities, I realized I could be more impactful in helping people in a provider role so I chose to advance my studies as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. The latter I hold in higher regard because I have a family history of Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and Anxiety, and unfortunately have lost family members from neglect and lack of treatment for these disorders due to the stigma associated with mental health. This stigma is largely shared worldwide, and my goal is to try and dispel the untruths surrounding mental health one person at a time. At You First Telehealth, your mental health, physical health, and well-being are our top priorities. My goal is to give you my undivided attention, listen to you, understand you, empathize with you and assist you in achieving your optimal state of well-being. In my practice, you won’t be just another number. Each visit will be with me, with no time spent in a crowded waiting room and will hopefully leave you feeling better.
